Here are a few of the final inkings from my Principles of Design Project.  This assignment's main objective was to practice using our gained knowledge of foundational design skills such as accurate measurement, drafting, inking, and cleanup. Above are the final Movement, Symmetry, and Golden Mean designs.

In order to procure a solid design concept for the final inking process, sixty thumbnails, twelve for each principle, were created for movement, symmetry, the golden mean, negative shape, and assymmetrical balance. Within such thumbnails only circles, squares, triangles, and rectangles could be utilized for the designs.

After all thumbnails were completed using pencil/pen and paper, the best chosen design from each principle was then enlarged on bristol board using micron pen and an india ink brush pen.
